Be Careful of What You Sow
Are you aware that we like the farmers sow seeds and that one day we too will reap the harvest we sow? You will lose your children and your family. Lord, I have sown the right kind of seed for the people in this sermon. In Hinduism, for example, intrinsically is linked to the concept of getting back what one puts forward. Everything that you do has repercussions. The law and principle for sowing and reaping hold true all the time. If you want corn you must sow corn seeds.
That is what we do when we are deceived in this particular way. When I got saved, the seed was already in my life; and it brought forth an immediate harvest. Sometimes we are deceived by others into thinking that we can sin and get away with it. One morning, Mama was dying with pneumonia. But all of that will not change God's rule. Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God. It is the reason why we ought to be faithful to the admonition of verse 6. Let us never think that we can sow to the flesh and somehow escape corruption. That is the clear teaching of the Word of God. There we will have blessed fellowship and communion with our Savior. What a powerful lesson that is! Personal responsibility is everything, yet it is so easy to blame other people.
It is a law which God has put into the very fabric of the universe. Behold, a sower went forth to sow; And when he sowed, some seeds fell by the way side, and the fowls came and devoured them up: Some fell upon stony places, where they had not much earth: and forthwith they sprung up, because they had no deepness of earth: And when the sun was up, they were scorched; and because they had no root, they withered away. But what it does mean, is that in spite of all of this, the rule of God stands. How much do you sacrifice for the Lord, and how well do you keep His love commandments? That's quite a principle, isn't it. It will determine what you will reap tomorrow. Don't think you can get away with bad choices even if you don't seem to get caught. One thing we should understand is that each one of us is a sower. If a man plants a field of corn, I've never heard that he harvests soy beans or alfalfa or sugar beets. My parents sowed only good seed to their children, and their reward will be great. But those who live to please the Spirit will harvest everlasting life from the Spirit. You would expect that it was easy for them, because when Jesus was here in the flesh with His great love, He walked and talked with them. I believe the blood of Jesus washes away all of my sins.
Stop catering to the flesh; always remember that the just shall live by faith, love, goodness, mercy, peace, gentleness and kindness. That rule can no more be changed than the rule that we must eat and drink to survive. Rather than fear, rather than misery, rather than turmoil; peace and joy, happiness, comfort, feeling good inside. Warn them to never bring reproach upon their parents or any other member of their family. Get Rid of the Bad Seed Many people have been sowing to the flesh and are now reaping corruption. My parents always made sure that we were taught the whole truth. I was taught to thank God for your food before you ate it.
People will know us and judge us by what we sow. This is a terrible wickedness. That's the blessing that we harvest when we sow to the Spirit. And the Devil has been doing that ever since and will continue to do that until the end of the age. Self must heed the call to pray and fast. They taught us to respect our elders and not to interrupt others. And the 16 year old in the car behind the person you are yelling at witnesses your anger and then that person may hold this vision in their head and yell at someone and swear at them when they do the same thing.
